College Football: BCS Bowls preview

The Rose Bowl

USC TROJANS vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

My pick USC by 21. The trojans are just way to good. The nittany lions didnt even deserve this shot for a bcs bowl.

The Orange Bowl

Virginia Tech Hokies vs. Cincinnati Bearcats

My pick Va Tech by 10. The bearcats have absolutely no experience and they are gonna come on to the field with to much excitement and energy. The same thing happened to Hawaii last year in the sugabowl. In the end Va tech is going to keep their cool and come back to win the game.

The Fiesta Bowl

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Texas Longhorns

My pick Texas by 41. Ohio State didnt deserve jack squat. They dont even deserve to have their name put in bold on this blog. When i saw they got in i couldnt believe it. i also couldnt believe texas tech didnt get in to anything.

THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

OKLAHOMA SOONERS VS. FLORIDA GATORS

My pick too close to call. This will be one of the best football games ever played. This game will probably be decided in the last 2 minutes. Both of these teams are spectacular and they both deserve this. i personally hate the gators but u cant dought tim tebow and the gators. Sam Bradford and the sooners are wonderful on every aspect of the game. I think this game may even go into OT.

NBA Draft: Derrick Rose vs. Michael Beasley

Picks
Derrick Rose:
Derrick Rose is a young talented freshman who led Memphis to the title game. He is 6-3 and weighs 196 lbs. This young point guard brings energy to the Memphis team. He has great shooting skills and is great at reading the defense; he is also a great play maker and his size and speed make him a superior point guard.
Michael Beasley:
Michael Beasley is a vital player in the Kansas State offense. He stands 6-8 and weighs 239lbs. This freshman led his team in many categories. His left-handed jump shot has deadly accuracy. He plays forward and has a size advantage over most opponents. Beasley led his Wildcats to defeat champion destined Kansas.
Who will be #1:
Last year the battle for this title was between Greg Oden and Kevin Durant, this year, two new contestants will take the stage. These two freshman brought energy and talent. You can not compare these players because they have different positions and roles in each team's offense. Chicago is the team picking first. The question is does Chicago need a speedy pointguard who can shoot and pass or a larger player who can shoot but also has a height advantage? I am picking Derrick Rose to be the first pick. I made this choice because the Bulls' need a fast player to back up Kurt Heinrich. The have enough bigger players that they can develop such as Joakim Noah. The only way to find out who is #1 is to wait and see.
